So far no, but I have a long list of things I want! As soon as I get back from vacation I plan to start purchasing some of them. I have been going to the library and looking for them there (without a lot of luck) and found a few free (legal) downloads online that I transfered to my mp3 player. Thanks to Highlander Radio, though, I do have Heather Dale's May Queen!

QUOTE
I nearly cried when a certain character (whose name I won't mention for those who haven't read it yet) died in book eleven.

Really? nearly? I cried so hard I got a headache!
I didn't even start reading the series untill somewhere about the 6th book or so. I went to the library and got all the back copies. I couldn't put any of them down untill I had read all the available books. I do believe that these charachters could have been better developed. and when these characters are given a certain personality type, they should stick to it. This certain person (whose name I won't mention for those who haven't read it yet) became like a family member to me! When I read books the characters become friends of mine (badly written or not) and I can't help but to think of them as my day goes by. Analyzing what they do and why, and what they should have done and what i might have done in the same cituation. My friend tells me it's because i'm empathic but i always thought it was because i was gullible! she tells me neither trait is entirely bad, though.
But we learn things from the books we read. So I continue to read the series and I also, await the library copy or the paperback, whichever comes along first.

before i got my cable modem i used callwave.com. it was free then, but may not be so now. when i had it they had a free version and a paid version. my mother in law uses it and i know that she pays but i don't know if they still offer the free version. when a person calls it will tell you who is calling and if you want to talk to them you click on it and it will put the call thru and you have a certain amount of time to talk before you will get booted from the internet. 4 min or something like that. she seeems very pleased with it. if you don't wish to talk to them it will take a message for playback online. you can change your outgoing message too i think to tell them to call your cell if that is an option for you.
good luck on whatever you choose!

those nasty popups are the reason i have blocker. and i run a fire wall too. it really helps everything work a lot smoother. i thought the sluggish site was my fault, though, because i tend to have email open, plus pogo games and sometime a messenger too. right now i have 5 windows running! but now it runs really great! i notice a big difference in the speed! it just makes me love it all the more! thumbs_up.gif

I just recently recieved Heather's new cd, May Queen (thank you Mcfive!) and I just love it! I can't bear to be without it ever! I drive a lot for my job so I purchased a Walkman Mini Disk player and transfered it to a disk along with other favorites and listen to them when I can't be by the computer! I only wish I could download all of Highlander Radio to my Walkman!

I love the current mix! I love everything that is played. (But I'm not crazy about the techno stuff...) My very favorite is the bagpipe and drums! Keep up the terrific work!

OK... I love ham, sam i am, green eggs and ham! Ham is terrific almost every way you can make it! (except I don't really like it when it is green or when it is with green eggs!)

But the best is PEEPS! After they are OLD HARD STALE HARD and, oh yes, did i forget to say HARD? I love it when i find months old peeps hiding in the cupboards waiting to get hard so I can find and eat them! And the best part? They are now making peeps for all holidays!

I have a terrifice PEEPS story! My twin boys (now 21) have their birthday right around Easter and sometimes falls on Easter. On their first Easter we gave them a little basked with a few pieces of candy. Of course we added a peep or two! Well, both, not one, took one bite of the peep and threw it on the floor saying "YUCK". Then, as they tried the other candies, thier fingers and faces getting quite sticky, they soon had green plastic grass stuck to their faces, hands, and yes the PEEPS which they had sat on and was now stuck to the rear of thier pjs! when they tried to pull them off they were so dismayed that they were unable to let go of the grass and candy! My husband and I still laugh about that till we cry!

Hi everyone! I'm new here... my name is Amy. My husband and I live on the Ohio/Michigan line on Lake Erie. We enjoy a lot of outdoor activities including but not limited to hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, boating, and just plain walking around. We have grown twin boys that just moved out this summer and so we are rediscovering a new romance between us. My lovebirds just laid 4 nice pretty eggs and I hope to be handfeeding baby birds shortly. They will be thieir fist clutch since I have gotten them so I really hope they are fertile and will hatch. My mom has been researching our family history but has run into a few problems. She got as far as our people coming to America but there seems to be a shortage of records in Ireland. I think she told me there was a church fire or somthing that destroyed all family records. She has been to Ireland a few times looking for more info but keeps coming up empty. I'm not really involved with the search, I just found thru her that I enjoy the music. I have tried a few online radio stations but some of them just disappeared or somehting. But I really like this one. I usually have it on in the evenings and late into the nite. I like to sleep with it on. (I think i drive my husband nuts with it. LOL) Well, anyway, looking forward to knowing everyone here. Oh yeah! almost forgot! To ValaneyValaun, it can't be all that bad living in Canada! When researching our family history we found one branch of the family went to Canada! We even had a meeting with them a few years back and they were a great bunch of people!
