Just found this while looking for Scottish radio stations on the net so I could listen to Auld Lang Syne this New Years Eve.
I am Scot by birthright. My Great great great grandfather was aboard the Hector as near as I can pin it down anyway.
Looking forward to watching this site and going to my home country of Scotland, Specifically Achnacarry/Ft. William ASAP.
I call it soggy California because we have got over half a foot of rain in the past 36 hours!
Happy new Year from a Son of the Hound...Unite!

Hello bob4328! Fàilte gu Celtic Radio! Welcome to Celtic Radio!

In my humble opinion, you have found one of the best websites ever. The people here are some of the nicest to be found anywhere on the net, and the music is simply out of this world.

So kick off your shoes, grab a mug of your favorite hot (or cold) beverage, turn up the music and have fun! I look forward to getting to know you better through your posts.

If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to ask anyone with the word "Guide" beneath their avatar. That's why we're here!

Again, it is so nice to have you with us. We are like one big family here, and we just love welcoming new members to the fold! I hope that you will enjoy your stay with us, and that you will come back and visit with us often. I feel quite certain that you will grow to love the place as much as I have.

Welcome to the family, my friend!
And welcome home! smile.gif

Well hello there bob4328 and while you are soggy, we are too sunny!! Supposed to break a record set in like 1820 today sad.gif which means when fire season comes around...we are in serious trouble!!

Anyway, welcome to Celticradio! I'm glad that you found us here. I think this is the best place for listen to celtic music for free & 24 hours a day! Our message boards are a great place to visit too, everyone is so friendly! So feel free to start posting so we can learn more about you.

As a side note: In 2004 I did visit Ft William and Achnacarry which both were wonderful. I may have some pics in my photo album of those places. I hope you get to make your trip over there, it was just wonderful!!

Greetings, Bob!

Amazing how you can trip over good things sometimes, eh? Enjoy your stay...mind the nuts. They're mostly harmless...or at any rate had all their shots. LOL Find a spot and jump in!
