Thanks Peeps When I First Joined Parkead PublicLibrary at the Grand Old Age of Seven The Very First Book I Took Out Was A Childs History of Scotland Approx 200 pages which I devoured and a Historophile was born I have been working for the Last TwentyFive Years upon a Dramatic Speechplay for Twelve or More Voices called Invasion Journal about The Battle of Largs in 1263 which saw The Birth of Scotland as an Nation |

My Dear Colleague I am of that Strange and oftimes Bewildering combinations Scots Irish Now add Fenian and Covenanting to the Mix and The Obvious Result is A Stew fit to Emerge from The Bloody Cauldron of The Morrrigan Herself But this is Not Yet The Whole Story I also have the Honour of Being a Direct Loin Descent of A ByBlow of Randy Rabbie So The Fact I live in Such an Important Location both Mythologically and Historically On One Side Lies The Beloved Mystic Resting Place of Scotlands Ancient Kings Cradle of Celtic Christianity and on the Other SideThe Beautious Tragic Site of of The The Woeful Tale of Deirdre of The Sorrows would indeed Seem to Be Apt that I Live in The One of The Most Romantic of Environs......Oh Young Lochinvar has Come Out of The West.......... |
