Each week i pick a word, to learn the meaning off, and try to use it in a sentence.
I will post my word each week, and let's have some fun learning the meaning and using it in a sentence..

This weeks (June/9/08 ) word is

The anfractuosity of his argument left me bewildered and confused.

This is a rare word indeed I could not even find it in my dictionary.
But it is used as well in medical term as in " The anfractuosity of the mind or brain" which I find on the net.
Which is synonymous of "winding".

Thanks for the word Tami.

MyLOA, The word is very unusual. It also refers to any winding, crooked, twisted path, crevice, canyon. Also maybe used in legal terminology to refer to a convoluted legal argument meant to confuse rather than clarify.
My sister and I like to compete with each other using words. I can't wait to spring this one on her!!!
Camac, My friend, I am sorry to hear of your friends last patrol.
TamiMcLeod, Come on , use it in a sentence!

His percieved luminosity diminished as the subject matter in discussion became more anfractuous.
