QUOTE (oldraven @ 05-Jan-2005, 03:18 PM) | Nice getup, Snoogans.
Maisky, I don't think you realise, I play a human in this series. I think you gave Labban just the ego boost he needed, however. |
OOPS, Sorry, my friend. I didn't mean to break up the disguise! I am still considering what modifications to make on my base character here, since I haven't been active since establishing the jester as a good natured jester (and master assassin) associated with Lady Karenrah, the Diplomat/Spy.

And they will finish their quest, even if they have already lost.

Caw "I am a Canadian by birth, but I am a Highlander by blood and feel under an obligation to do all I can for the sake of the Highlanders and their literature.... I have never yet spoken a word of English to any of my children. They can speak as much English as they like to others, but when they talk to me they have to talk in Gaelic." -Alexander Maclean Sinclair of Goshen (protector of Gaelic Culture) We need more Stan Rogers. jams

I'm not sure. I don't think we should go modern. Perhaps split the difference? I like the idea of using the Fae world. Like we fell asleep for a few centuries, but that world doesn't allow anything to grow old and die. So the three scots could have been sitting around that fire, trying to drink the flasks dry, for two hundred years, but never falling to alcohol poisoning. Something has to have caused the wrinkle, though.
I say maybe early 16th Century. Or during the Roman occupation, or the Saxon invasion (though this could be taking us back in time, since we all started out in a castle). What do you guys think? A company of the old world waking up to that world being erased by outside politics, or a world of logic and reason (renaissance).
And Grungahn! Oooo, I've got a good one for him! ::thumbsup
Someone step in here, because I could write a book if you let me run with it.
