What happened to the station. I was posting at about 02:00 am on 11/15/03 and the station just went off and I lost everything. I have been trying all day to get it back. It came back up at about 7:00 pm. |

I am so glad it wasn't just me! |

I noticed that too. What happened? The server went completely offline. Couldn't even ping / traceroute. |

Whew! Glad it wasn't just me! Might I ask a stupid question? Where is this radio station located? I mean where does it come from? Somewhere in the states, Canada, UK? I hope I am making sense! |

Our Fearless Leader, aka MacFive, lives near Boston. The server(s) live with him. The bandwidth providers are scattered the h*** and gone all over the place! |

Thanks 3Ravens! This is probably answered somewhere on the site, but I have yet to get to everything on here yet. |

I don't know what the deal was, but everything is working now. |

Broadcast and Site are back online. Sorry, we were out of town yesterday and something went wrong with our internet connectivity. In the future we are looking into somesort of script that we can run that will contact our cell phone when the broadcast goes down, but for now it is the old fashion way - just listen and see if it works! |

It's working fantastic now Paul I'm glad that you're back You do a great job! Mikel |

Boy Paul, you were greatly missed! Went to listen and no station...didn't feel right not being here...missed the music and friends to chat with...I did notice something different the first page has changed again and my station is now coming thru the modem and clearer instead of winamp...I didn't change anything on my computer. Hum?Oh well, as long as I get the music I'm a happy camper. Glad you are up and running now. Annabelle |

Mac, should be easy enough to find those scripts. I found one in approximately 5 minutes that I had watching bind for me on a server I was administering |

Along these lines of the station going down, I have also been plagued by Hackers trying to virus my comp. with it being the holiday season and people buyiing alot online, I would suggest that every one update their firewalls and Anti-Virus. I was pinged over 554 times in a 24 hour period!!! Please becareful |

Thanks for the warning Angel Whitefang!! I'm still having a bit of a problem tuning into the music.....seems to take forever to load and then I get a small grey box that says 'connection timed out'. I think it's probably my computer though..... it's either in need of a tune up or a date with the snow bank. |

Celtic Aingeal Don't feel alone. The same thing is happening to me. Sometime I think it is quicker to get over the Seven Year Itch first. |

*lol*...thanks so much, Richard.....I needed that!! Glad to know I'm not alone in this. |

So happy to have the site back. I thought I would go crazy at work with no music. We all owe Macfive a pint ASAP. Liriel |

Just one? The Poor Man can't walk on one leg. Let's give him two. I think he at least deserves that! |

I would send him a case if it would help. |
