Wednesday night my family and I went to see Old Blind Dogs in concert in Bellville, Ohio. Since we had fist seen them at the Dublin (Ohio) Irish Festival, we have become devoted fans. My boys (18 and 15) love them! You would two teens would be totally into modern rock and such, but they are not.

I am usually a fairly introverted person, but in certain situations can become an absolute geek! For the OBDs final song (Roll Away Home), they asked the audience to sing the refrain. Not me! I know the words to the entire song and joined right inwith the band. After the show the bandmembers formed something of a receiving line and greeted and spoke with the audience. Wouldn't you know I shook each one of their hands. Like I said, what a geek!

The venue was kind of cool too. The Bellville Opera House only holds 150 people. So you can imagine the intimacy.

Cheers
