Hey all,

I am checking the boards. I have been gone a few days. My Father who is 83 fell broke two ribs and his back. They injected some glue in his back. We will know in a day or two if it is better. He will be in the hospital for awhile so I will be coming and going 150 miles. So keep me posted as what is going on.

Have a good one thumbs_up.gif

Just got in from work, reading the forums, and thinking I should start a new thread on portable audio smile.gif Looks like we could go on, and on. Which doesn't belong here.

Just finished my shower and about to go out. I want to go to the harbour, there's an international meeting of old sailing ships, about 2000 of all over the world are here, it's beautiful, there's a lot of music and sea shanties and a great atmopshere here ! smile.gif

That's awesome...I'm envious!

Now, I'm running a spy/adware scan with one of the three anti-spyware applications I have on my computer.

Doesn't that sound paranoid of me to have three anti-spyware apps on my computer unsure.gif ? I guess so, but then again, I'm on Windows...

I am doing the same thing, Mike! I just ran my Norton anti-virus scan and now I am running a new anti-virus scan that finds things that Norton doesn't. It is called a2 Updater. Really cool! I gets rid of spyware and everything. Takes a long time to run though and it has been a long day for me too and I would like to get to bed as well.

I also have three spyware programs!

I have spyhunter, Ad-aware and Spybot. I have found that what one doesn't find, the other does. I guess that makes me paranoid too! unsure.gif

I have Spyware Doctor, Zero Spyware and Microsoft Anti-Spyware. Microsoft Anti-Spyware is actually pretty good. It caught a few things the other two didn't.

For Norton, did you just buy the Anti-Virus or the whole SystemWorks package? I got the SystemWorks package for Christmas, even though I only asked for the anti-virus software.

I finally bought a wrist pad at Office Depot today. I just bought one of the $5 rubber ones. My wrists were really hurting from just sitting on the desk while I was typing. Not a good thing when you have carpal tunnel syndrome no.gif .

Just got home after taking a ride on the Snow Train in Ontario, Canada. Temperature this morning was 12*F. What a great trip. Saw some winter campers/Ice climbers in the canyon. Starting to plan some great future trips for me.

Mike! I just have the Norton anti-virus as when I once had the whole utilties with firewall and all that, it really screwed up my computer with having dial up. I know that sounds strange, but I have a tempermental computer here. rolleyes.gif Once I switched to just the anti-virus, it runs a whole lot smoother. XP has its own firewall and I use that. Not as good as Zone Alarm, but better than nothing.

Do you have MSN? I know they come equipped with some anti-spyware program don't they or am I thinking of pop-up blocker?

I will have to check out the Microsoft anti-spyware. I have two spywares on my pc now that I cannot get rid of no matter what I have done. dry.gif

Right now I am catching up on all the posts before I get off here to watch some TV and read!
