So I'm looking for suggestions for celtic concert DVD's.

So far I have:
Gaelic Storm - Live from the House of Blues
Danu - One Night Stand
Celtic Woman - Celtic Woman (PBS broadcast)
Great Big Sea - Great Big CD/DVD

what others are out there that you would suggest?

well, I'm thinking (such a terrible thing to do on such a lovely day) that if Amazon doesn't have it and it's still in print I should be able to order it from somewhere. Either the band website or the local record store kinda thing.

So if you know where I can find it just let me know.

Solas: Reunion: A Decade of Solas (2006)
Planxty: Live 2004
Christy Moore (I can't remember which one)
Dervish: Live at Johnny Fox's

I also own Dancing on Dangerous Ground, which is a bit like an Irish dancing ballet.

The only one I have is the Solas Reunion (2006). It's great and has all the configurations of the band from the early days to the present, minus, of course, the late great Johnny Cunningham. Well worth a look!

Afrocelt has some videos on the "POD" CD. Dropkick Murphey's, Ceili Rain, and Trinity Irish Dance Company. The last can be found at
www.trinity-dancers.com
I highly recommend it. Similar to Riverdance. There is also a DVD called Barrage witch is not to bad.

I too, would suggest "Live At the Gem" from The Elders. You can see a couple of snippets by visiting their web site, and looking under Stuff For Download. You'll find Michael's Ride, and Men of Erin there. Michael's Ride is what they use to open their shows, and it's only on that CD and DVD, not any of the studio albums, at least not yet.

Um. Quick, off the top of my head, from the office (shh... don't tell), without my collection to hand to look at...

The Rogues
Clandestine
Jiggernaut
EJ Jones
Alasdair Fraser
Brian MacNeill
Gordon Duncan
Needfire
Tinsmith
Enter the Haggis
Brother
Wicked Tinkers
Glengarry Bhoys
The Firestarters

Heh, and one lone Loreena McKennitt CD, which, except for the Gordon Duncan (God rest his soul), is the only one of those that I didn't buy from a table at the back of the bar/tent/auditorium/whatever, after catching the act. walkman.gif

Oops! Okay, I read the subject line and didn't read the first post carefully enough. *Live* CDs, huh?

Hmm. Okay, I have the Rogues' live CD, "Made in Texas".

And I have the Wicked Tinkers' live CD, "Banger for Breakfast".

They both rock.
