Ninety-Seven, now The tears are real The pain is too The sadness eats To the very soul. Ninety-seven, now And for what? To wet the ground With young red blood. To win a war That cannot be won To beat a foe They know not who. Ninety-seven, now And for what? To bring Peace To a riven land To show the world Just where we stand. The courage of Our young is great On this there can Be no debate. Our Soldiers strength lies In Brotherhood Each one who fell They understood The price of Peace Comes at great cost But is it worth the Ones' we've lost. Is one Life Worth the price Is one Life Worth the pain What is the price Of Freedom, for the Prize of Peace to gain? They fight and die In distant lands to Keep us safe at home But that has been Our Soldiers lot And how they've Gained their Fame. The Red and White Tells all the world That Conquerers they Are not. They Fight to keep the Peace in place Where others would Dare not. |

I like your poem dedicated to our young soldiers that died while on mission to Afghanistan. A beautiful tribute. For a first draft it's good. LOA |

LOA; I'm afraid my "Francais" is very limited to what I learned working construction and that is not the type to be spoken in polite society. N'es Pas? Camac. |
