Paul, here's another group you might consider. Iona is from Ireland and has been around almost as long as Clannad. Clannad has even used them for their opening band in the early days when they were on tour.

~~ Would love to find if possible for you to add 'Six Mile Bridge' to your playlist. They are a contemporary Celtic rock group, (play many traditional tunes also). I was much impressed with this group after hearing them at our games. They incorporate a bagpipe player who is can play his pipes as fast as i can play my whistle. Really an awsome group. Thanx

When you start looking, there are at least 3 groups called Iona. The one from the uk, a christian praise music group, and a very nice Celtic group fron the D.C. area.
One and three would fit here nicely. Don't know about two.....they are good muscians, but maybe not "our" style! wink.gif
