| Lets start with what I know. Small knife was worn woven into the open side of the kilt to make it easyly acessable. The early brooch was large and horse shoe shaped with what looked like a horse shoe nail woven over the pin under the fabric to hold the plaid together at the sholder. Where would one find this old style jewlery? What is the modern accepted peices to be worn with kilts? What Stones would be traditionally used? |
