A stage production?

How could that be pulled off? Of course, they did "The Lion King" on Broadway so I guess the sky's the limit for LOTR...LOL.

BUT, think of the logistics of this:

Tolkien's world is just that...a world. You're gonna be very limited on the stage when it comes to expansive scenery...though this would be an eye-opener in a small space...hmmmm.

Maybe they can pull it off. Just remember it is live so don't expect big special effects and you won't be disappointed. They had The Hobbit on stage here a few years ago. Good for a family event.
