| Today my mom asked me why I must continue to be involved in ren faires. In a kilt no less! And me an italian. Well sometimes pictures are better than words. So without further ado here's one reason: Human combat chess or living chess in some circles. The two big ren faires I attend have it but this video is from the New York faire since its so well done. | Good band. There were at our home ren faire and prformed at Olde World in Twig, MN several times. Always a delight to see them. Our ren faire is pretty much shut down now-nobody wants to run it and Olde World is cancelled this year (and hopefully only this year) because of the economy. The closest to us now is Chippewa Falls and Minnesota. Both are pretty long hauls but worth it. |
