Deadliest Warrior is a television program on Spike T.V. in which historical warriors are put against each other to see who can outlast the other. Each episode showcases two warriors in a hypothetical battle to the death.
The shows commentators use science, physics and technical details to determine the winner.
I and my son watch this show quite often. It's extremely entertaining. I wish we had the software program they use to help determine the winners. Can't wait to see how the final outcome will be. The whole show kind of takes on the old Highlander series storyline...."There can be only one...."
If speculation is what one wants, then match ups such as Attila the Hun vs Ghengis Ghan are OK, though the outcome can never be accurately resolved. Using groups that are currently or recently active is, for many people, pouring salt on fresh wounds. The best that can be sad is that it is in poor taste.
I believe everyone is taking this waaay too seriously...it's a show for entertainment purposes only. That being said, you obviously have the choice to watch it or not.

"...so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
I still have to say I find the weaponry very interesting if they are accurate, which it depends on the shooters. I have only had time to watch the one show. But I will watch as many as time allows.
It's a match-up I'd like to see for real. Send the IRA to Afghanistan and let them have free reign. Unlimited weaponry and funding compliments of the UN.
I for one do not like Wars, but if it could be played out like this for real then I say go for it. I have watched this show from time to time and think it's just a show to watch for enterainment.

Hopes are towers in the skies Dreams are wings taking flight
The Boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best Shadowy and vague. Who shall say where one ends and the other begins
I know this is somewhat but still is in regard to the Ultimate Warrior. Yesterday evening's program was William Wallace vs Shaka Zulu....I think this particular program caught my attention as it was featuring a famous Scotsman
I found it interesting viewing all the different weapons and how they were wielded. Needless to say, William Wallace won this bout If you are interested, I pasted the link to this episode.
