MEMORY was launched in 2011 to raise funds for Western Alzheimer’s. This CD features eleven original songs from some of Ireland’s best loved singer/songwriters including Thom Moore, Charlie McGettigan, Tony Reidy and Finbar Furey.

While listening, one could tell that a lot of thought, time, consideration and love for music went into the making of this album; it was impossible for me to select a favorite as they are all excellent listening.

Western Alzheimer’s is committed to work effectively to create awareness of the nature of Alzheimer’s Disease and its effect on families, to provide In-Home Respite Care and to provide and maintain homely facilities best suited for the Respite Care and Long Term Care of people suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease.

CD Line Up:

(1) Drumshanbo On Its Own…Thom Moore
(2) Sit You Down…Davey Arthur
(3) A Rough Shot Of Lipstick…Tony Reidy
(4) I Hope You Like It…Charlie McGettigan
(5) Walk The Long Road…Ger Wolfe
(6) No Farewells, No Goodbyes…Finbar Furey
(7) Katie Riordan…Eamon Ireland
(8) Worry Not…Liam O’Maonlai
(9) It’s So Easy…MacDara O’Consola
(10) The Stolen Child…Sean Tyrrell
(11) Matthew…Johnny McEvoy

It is an excellent album, hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Slainte,
Darlene
