| There is nothing like discovering Celtic Radio on DSL! We decided a few years back to drop supported for dial up because the possibilities that DSL offered were too good! Glad to have you back!  |

 I sure am jealous. Since we moved to the country all I can get is a dial-up connection, and it is slow-pokey to the max: 26 Kbps top speed. Can't hear nuthin', can't download nuthin', can't do much but hope to read email without being disconnected! I'm so frustrated I could spit. I've tried to find alternative ways to get online, but we're out of Comcast's range & Charter doesn't come down our street & won't because it isn't "financially feasible". Jerks. We are considering getting rid of the AT&T dialup completely since we're paying for a second phone line but they won't update their equipment so we have a decent speed... I may have to resort to using my dad's DSL a couple of times a week when we visit. *sigh* Elspeth, good for you that your connection is a good one now! |
