I don't know much about the accident, because I was only a few years old at the time, and it's not talked about at all now.

Have you ever heard Garnett's song about two brothers, Frank & Johnny? I can never get through that song in one piece. As far as I knew, Garnett doesn't play any of Stan's stuff. He actually made it to this years Stanfest, in Canso. The first time since it's been up and running. I missed it this year though. sad.gif

Normally it hardly snows at all in Western Kentucky, but last winter it actually did snow. Now, I'm from Chicago, so to me it was a normal amount of snow, but to the natives it was probably the most snow they have ever seen in their lives. They canceled the local schools for almost 15 days I think (but they didn't close the University, of course) and everyone bought Walmart out of bread, milk, meat and tp, thinking they would get snowed in. And of course they didn't know how to drive . . . rolleyes.gif
Southern people definitely amuse me when it comes to snow (if they're not about to run me off the road tongue.gif )

Cailiosa if you are from Chicago you are use to alot of snow you lucky girl! My sister in law lives out in Highland Park and they get it all of the time.
I love the snow. I'd be a snow bunny if I could!

Derfel, do you usually get much snow where you are from?

I wanted to share with you that I got a very lovely gift from Germany yesterday in the mail. It was a tin musical box filled with chocolates! Yum! The tin was decorated with sites of Nurnburg (hope I spelled that right) unsure.gif Is that close to you? smile.gif beer_mug.gif

If this is the Nurnburg that I'm thinking about are you in Germany?

I visited a town over there and It seems like it was spelt like that. It's been maybe 10 years and my memory isn't too good sometimes, Ya!

If it is I'll bet you get some good snow falls.
