That is a great commercial. It seems the whiskey ads are always 10 times better than anything thatthe American brands throws out.

Unavoidably Detained by the World
"Irishness is not primary a question of birth or blood or language; it is the condition on being involved in the Irish situation, and usually of being mauled by it."-Conor Cruise O'Brien
Haunting and enchanting...a true essence of Ireland and Irish whiskeys...I see that this post was from a year and a half ago but I only saw this commercial (in it's very short version) yesterday, not once but twice. Can not recall which channel though as I was watching and flipping between college football games. It could well have been NBC as I watched the Rugby match because it was the only time I was not switching channels...Absolutely beautiful...

The Scots are the men that made GOD mad, for their battles are happy and their songs are sad...UNK
It doesn't matter if the glass is half full or half empty, as long as there's whiskey in it...UNK
Too much of anything is bad, but too much of good whiskey is barely enough...M. Twain
One can only hope to have friends, good friends, when one passes, that would care enough to share a glass and remember.
The idea of friendship, not the ridiculous notion of today, but true friendship, seems more and more a thing of the past. For... friendship requires commitment and loyalty; two things that are in short supply these days.
So, here's one to those whom I have called friend in the past, and one to those I hope to find in the future

So true...We cultivate friendships in our youth, bring them to blossom in adulthood and then we enjoy the fruit of these great friendships in our middle age. But alas, social media has not been conducive to building these deep long lasting relationships only to build long lists of acquaintances. On the other hand though, FB and such has given us the opportunity to rediscover, rekindle and renew many childhood friendships that have long fell by the wayside. True friends don't worry about your baggage, they just help you unpack it...these are truly rare and precious. So here's a pint or two and a glass of whiskey to share amongst friends, both past and present and to the unknown friends we have yet to meet...Slainte, Skol, and Prost, ya'll
