Ok, not sure how this is will take, but I thought an excellent name for this place would be "The Jester's Court'. Since it fits into the theme of our site more than "Chit-Chat."

And, I have added 1 avatar which is a Jester. I am thinking that perhaps we could have a contest to see who deserves this avatar. If you want to be considered as the Court Jester of all of CelticRadio.net, then please submit your name to me. I will create a poll so everyone here can vote.

Here is the Avatar you will be applying for:

And you will have an official title as 'CelticRadio Court Jester'

Ok, do I dare ask for feedback?

I nominate Maisky, as he's been a jester since day one. smile.gif

btw, great idea. This fits the scene much better than 'chit chat'. thumbs_up.gif

Now we know how Paul really feels about our tom foolery unsure.gif

Very cool name and an astute obseration of the character of those who like to post in this forum (gives Oldie the big hairy eye) tongue.gif

I for one like it and would like to apply for the avatar but unfortunately I could not stand the humiliation that would follow with my inevitable loss in the voting sad.gif

Cool avatar.

Great idea Macfive!!

Actually, I do think Peckery would be the best one for the jester since he is always making jokes about everything. I have always thought of him as the court jester since I joined and say how he jokes about everything. Just my opinion.

I find there's a better thing than a woopie cusion. Just fart and blame it on someone else. laugh.gif It's cheaper, and you get the full effect.

It is a tough choice between Maisky and Peckery but I would have to say Maisky since his Avatar has alway been a Jester of some kind. Anyhow if Peckery was chosen, we would no be able to see his pretty face anymore. wink.gif

I fully believe that Annabelle cuts up with the best of them so I nominate her to be the Court Jester.

Gosh, I'm glad I found this forum. I tried to get into the chitchat room and it said "error..if I didn't know how to use a site....etc". That happens a lot, so I tried again and again!! sad.gif

Then I got the brilliant idea of checking my profile and what did I see? That the place where I most hang out is "The Jester's Court". No wonder I'm lost so much of the time..I don't even know where I hang out! unsure.gif

Oh well, glad I'm here anyway. Who knows where I'll end up tomorrow. wacko.gif

I think we need a contest between Maisky and Peckery to see who looks better in those Jester tights!

seriously, I think that this forum is a very good compromise.
But tell me, has anyone ever had a fun conversation with friends where you didnt drift off topic, or make silly jokes?? that is the one of the clues that you are among friends. It should be taken as a compliment to the basic site that there are a core of friends that have fun, not just on silly topics, but add to the Celtic theme threads too.

I haven't been around long, but my vote would have to go with Peckery. I have not read many posts of his where I was not ,at least , smirking by the end
