Has anyone else had difficulty recruiting workers? I have tried to recruit workers a couple time lately and nothing happens. My gold isn't used and I am using more gold than the minimum amount required. Any ideas? |

Ok, I paid attention today and also noticed the bug whenever I went to build some Guard Towers. I am not sure if it is specific to the Guard Towers or not. I was able to train some Long bowmen with no issues. |

I haven't noticed this bug yet, but I haven't really been paying attention to it either. I will try to keep an eye out as well. |

QUOTE (Derek3646 @ 03-May-2017, 09:33 AM) | I'm really into Once upon a time myself, the stories are amazing and I love all the actors and actresses on it mostly Regena and rumple, been into a lot of cooking shows late too like Iron chef, cook off shows and dinner drive in and dives. |
I really didn't care for Once Upon a Time. They did a horrible job with the Arthurian legends. Plus, I am more of a traditional when it comes to fairy tales, happy endings were rarely associated with the Fair Folk.

I have always been fascinated, that early Christians linked so many of their religious holidays to the pagan holy days. It's almost like they acknowledged that spreading Christianity by the sword was insufficient for conversion and that co-option of their holidays were required to slowly convert the locals over. Of course, with the survival of holly, wreaths, evergreen trees, etc one could argue they were never completely successful! |

I think that Ireland will be very likely to follow the United Kingdom out of the European Union, if the United Kingdom ends up doing well and is prosperous. As far as trade goes, Ireland and the United Kingdom are dependent on each other and a better trade agreement would likely be reached by direct negotiations between the two nations.
I am in general opposed to organization such as the EU, UN, and WTO as they end up with policies and regulations that are direct assaults on individuals, liberty, and freedom. I am also not a fan of any government for the same reasons. As far as the Apple situation goes, I think Ireland is going to end up giving the EU the middle finger on that one as it would be very destructive to their economy and people.
The Scotland issue, is more difficult to judge, because what is good for the Scottish people, is not mutually inclusive with what is good for the English. I think another succession vote is likely in the next several years.

I would let the month finish up, before I rushed to judgment on the support for the station. After all, some listeners may not have been aware it had started already (that was my case) and others may be waiting to balance their monthly budget before they donate as well. |

Homemade Eggnog
Ingredients 6 Large Eggs 1 Cup Heavy Cream 2 Cups Whole Milk 1 Cup Sugar 1 Cup booze of your choice Cinnamon Sticks
Instructions
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Mix the sugar and egg yolks until creamy. In a separate bowl add your heavy whipping cream and blend until it begins to thicken. Slowly, add in the milk, then booze. Add the blended sugar/egg yolk to the milk and cream mixture until well blended. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until they begin to form stiff peaks. Fold the egg whites into the eggnog. Serve with a cinnamon stick.
Over the years, I have tried several eggnog recipes and this is the result of that experiment! |
