I am getting ready to head south for a day. It got down to 28 degrees here last night. It may drop a little more by daybreak.

Just back from University Hospital in Columbus and I am so happy that if I remembered where I put my bottle of Scotch I would have a wee nip. Maybe two or?

Druid of Ark

Very true. No one who visits here ever drinks Scotch. Mostly they are beer drinkers. When I moved to this smaller house 7 years ago, I packed everything I was not likely to use soon and the "stuff" is still packed. The 1 or 2 unopened bottles are just getting better by the year. The opened one may not be. My Father in Law didn't drink and his employer gave good whiskey as Christmas gifts every year. He had some that had been in his closet for over 25 years and that was a long time ago. I often wondered what happened to them.

Back in 2001 I was at least as big around as I was tall. I had to loose a lot of weight in a hurry and had stomach surgery. That ended my drinking days. As I recall there is an unopened bottle of Chavis Regal and a bottle of 100 Pipers. I do not remember what is in the box any more. I should find the box and have a party.
