I have heard a report on the radio that children (including children with preexisting respiratory ailments) being refused the vaccine because they don't belong to the correct ethnic group in Chicago.

I see little transparency in this administration, though the conservative leadership of our and area health department's have now stated publicly that they are not testing flu cases, even those presenting at the hospital. All are assumed to be swine flu and treated as such. Neat trick don't you think? It keeps the govt. swine flu numbers up including the death count! Locally they tell us that the "regular" flu is more virulent than the swine flu.

Also, why are we not calling it swine flu? Are we trying to protect R. Carroll Ranch (Smithfield Farms) in Mexico where it all started? Maybe Mexico?

A local grocery liquidation outlet had a large number of Smithfield hams (a product of Mexico according to the packaging) that it tried to sell at reduced prices. One by one the packages filled with gas (decomposition) and swelled up like basket balls. Some did not even make it to their expiration date.

Haven't you heard? Our "friends" in Isreal don't WANT it related to pigs! Might not be kosher! I read this in the news early this year. Right after their complaint it became N1H1.

I didn't know we had friends in the middle east. The main credit I would give Israel is they probably have the b#lls to do what we do not!

The article depicts a situation much worse than reality indicates.

With a pandemic can come martial law and other bad things. I do not think we can trust obama.

It was reported in our local papers that we have received only 5% of the vaccine that we were to receive and gave up on it. We are now in treatment mode. What a well organized response to a supposed medical crisis!! This administration could not organized a good clean nickle pay toilet!!
