Okay, this was brought up in another thread but....

You're about to get on a plane and someone asks "I want to get into Celtic music, what should I start listening to?" What do you respond with in that 30 seconds you might have?

Cheers

I'd probably tell them that I got into listening to Celtic Music by listening to Loreena McKennitt, then I got a Compolation CD of Celtic music.

Start buying The Chieftains, Silly Wizard, Great Big Sea, Steeleye Span, Gaelic Storm, Natalie McMasters, and Dougie Maclean. That is a good mix in styles that are out there. From Trad ( traditional) to Mod Celtic ( Modern Celtic)...
That's what I would tell the out of the shoot wink.gif
