Don't know how I did. It just happened. I think my workers all went to the mines because it was warmer down under the ground than in the fields and woods. It's -1 and the wind is howling. Wish I had a nice warm fire to curl up by with a cup o hot spice cider.
I got two in bed and one growly bear still running around. I'm freezing. I think I'll go make a Polar Express, if I can get hot water. Than I'll see if the sleeping bear will let me share some covers. RebeccaAnn

Tomorrow we will post the CD in the early morning and then take the winner in the afternoon. Sorry for late posts, but have been dealing with alot of snow in the Northeast.
Also had a scary trip home from New Hampshire on Saturday over Mt. Kancamagus - completely snow covered and thousand foot drop over the side of the road....don't want to do that again!
Glad to be home and will be on top of these contests for the rest of the week!
Here are a few pictures of our trip over the Kancamagus highway in N.H. this past Saturday. This is a picture my son took looking out the passenger window. That is the side of the road and then about a thousand foot drop. I will post a few more pictures!
This is a picture as we started out on our adventure. The pictures do no justice. It is absolutely heaven driving through deep snow covered ravines, mountain meadows, forests, glacier ponds with the temperture hovering around 7 degrees and snow squals coming and going with each turn of the road.
Would not recommend this for the faint at heart. I nearly had a panic attack at the summit which was 2,800 feet. I've driven this route many times in the summer, but winter driving is another story...
Ok, enough with the pictures, we will get back to the contest. I am just glad to be back on the level ground of the Celtic Radio studios!

Blackmore's Night
Today's CD is by Candice and Ritchie Blackmore. Their group, Blackmore's Night, currently has many albums playing on Highlander Radio. We all know Ritchie Blackmore from his days with Deep Purple and the lovely and beautiful vocalist, Candice Blackmore, makes "Winter Songs" a truly exceptional Christmas album:
Our Review:
"Few Christmas albums can really break new creative ground in the Celtic, Medieval or Folk genre - but leave it to Blackmore's Night to create a true inspiration for this holiday season. A beautiful composition of 12 traditional Christmas songs performed in true Blackmore fashion with electric guitars, angelic vocals and sweeping melodies. Winter Carols is a holiday CD that is to be treasured year in and out. One of our favorite tracks, Christmas Eve, is certain to put anyone in the Christmas Spirit - even ol' Ebenezer himself would certainly pour another glass of this fine musical wine and toast to humanity and life! Winter Carols is a symphony of resounding holiday sounds that will brighten your Christmas all through New Years."
