My name's Emmet, I'm a sailor & bagpiper from Clearwater, Florida. I pipe with the St. Andrew's Pipes & Drums of Tampa Bay and the Royal Canadian Legion Post 144, and frequently at Flanagan's Irish Pub. I'm also a member of the Dunedin chapter of the New World Celts and the Tampa Bay Parrotheads in Paradise; I sail a small boat mostly in the St. Joseph's Sound/Anclote Key area. I'm a former firefighter/paramedic, happily married, with two lovely Cocker Spaniels.
Welcome to CR! Lots of good music and some wonderful people to chat with! I hope you grow to love it here as much as I have! I look forward to getting to know you through your posts!
Welcome to the family!

I love that little boogeying piper avatar, Emmet. Hope we do get to hear a sound clip of you. There can never be too much good pipe music in the world.
Welcome to the forum, Emmet! My wife and I just moved from St. Pete to NC. We went to Flannigans once... the night before this years Celtic Fest. We met Mike (from NWC) there. Were you there, by chance? It was a great evening and a great festival. It's nice that you've joined us here!

Hello Emmet. I am new here too. I'm in Indiana. My sister used to live in Clearwater Fl. on a street called Winners Circle. The name of the street is ironic considering her live-in boyfriend (father of her kids) spent most of his time at the dog tracks. Clearwater is a really nice place to visit.
