It has been heniuosly hot across the Country..

To give my plants a bit of relief, I have
Watered at night, to give them a chance to get refreshed..

Misted them with a VERY weak mixture of * your favorite plant food here*

Used ice cubes during the day, so they get water slowly,
And the soil gets a cooling, in my pots.

Moved the big umbrella, so the Lupines do not get burned .

I know all the experts say , soaker hoses are the way to go.
I do use them, and my plants survive , thanks to them.

Added a sprinkler hose as well this year..
I think the flowers look better, being watered ALL over..
I know this goes against the Golden Rules of Gardening.
But my plants are happier, so meh!

So what is everyone else doing to keep their plants healthy and happy?

In Service to the Dream,

Proud member of Clan Mac Roni , CEO of The KDC

The curve is mightier than the sword ...

"He's twitching, because ,
mah axe is embedded in
his nervious system " !
