Great fun. Another engaging album from Scotland's jetsetting and legendary former street busker Jimi McRae. Here he teams up with Nigerian percussionist and good friend Sammi Okoo. Contains all the classics, be amazed at how well Jimi's pipes and Sammi's djembe drum go together. Catch them live if you can. Great show.

It's a wonderful combination. There was an old band in the late 70s or early 80s called "Na Caberfeidh" -- I have heard they changed their name to "Mad Plaid" at some point; that had a terrific fusion sound. We used to follow them -- it was "Afrocaledonian" all the way. Incredible energy. These guys you are describing sound very worth investigation.
