Now that series 8 has started what does everyone think of Capaldi???

I've been watching Who for only a bit, and I like the way the show flows. I like Capaldi, he fits the role rather well, and I like the direction so far. I'm about to watch the season finale, part one, and I'm not sure where they plan to take this thing.. I think I'm scared..

It's sad this is Capaldi last season he was ok doctor to me but it was to short to see the full range of his Acton skills.

Probably opening a hornet's nest here but how does everyone think the new Doctor will turn out? I hope she does a good job but I know the new outfit is going to have to be something I'm going to have to get use to.

I'm pretty confident that she will do a great job. Her other work has been very good. And, it seems that every time the Doctor changes, the fandom spend a season moaning about it before settling in for the ride.

I can live with her role as the Doctor. I do still have reservations about the new outfit. In the silhouette of her it looks like she is wearing clown shoes. It will probably change over time just as Capaldi's outfit went through several changes.

I'm still stuck on the fourth doctor, Tom Baker. He is, and will likely always be, my favourite.
