We lost one of the world best drummers this morning April 28th, 2009

Joe Kilna MacKenzie who formed the band Clann An Drumma died in his sleep after a long illness, with his loving family by his side. He was a great family man, friend and Ambassador for Scotland. He touched so many lives through his music and he will continue to live on in our hearts through his music. My condolences going out to the family and friends at this difficult time.

He will be missed so very much. Please feel free to leave your condolences on the Clann An Drumma forum as well.

I like looking up songs etc. on youtube and thought we could all share the ones we like. What ones do you like off youtube. It's great to think this song is sang all around the world now and for a hell of a cause. Thanks so much for the kind words.

Heres I had a idea to all share what youtubes we like using Clann An Drummas song Sgt. Mackenzie. This music is played world wide. This one really hit home

A quick reminder that the contest is drawing to a close.

All you have to do is come on to the forum and there's a topic called COMPETITION!!! Just have a look at the photo that's up and give it a funny name and if chosen by the band as they will be the judges, you will win a Clann An Drumma bag full of goodies, including a signed cd.

The contest ends on August 31 and the winner will be announced by September 5th.

If you've already posted and think of another one, come on back and post again. It's going to be hard for the band to pick as there's some great posts.

There's still a few hours left in the competition on the Clann An Drumma forum.
If nothing else go on over and read some of these great captions. They'll put a smile on your face.

Hey Robert Phoenix looking forward to seeing you there as well as here.

The band has chosen not 1 but 2 winners of the contest. Stop by the forum and see if your one of the winners. They are planning on having a contest often so keep checking in. Go to the Clann An Drumma website or click the link in my signature. Just stop in to say Hello or just to read the great captions.
