Well, the moment has finally arrived were we begin our Celtic Radio celebration of Christmas through our "A Celtic Christmas" broadcast! We are much early this year because we now have a dedicated channel for Christmas music. You can tune in any time and enjoy the music early as you prepare for thanksgiving.
CHRISTMAS MUSIC! Currently we are playing a mix of Winter Solstice and traditional Christmas music on our A Celtic Christmas broadcast.
WELCOME NEW LISTENERS! We'd like to extend a big Christmas hello to all of the new listeners we have heard from this month that have discovered us through our Christmas broadcast. Be sure to sign up quickly using our new facebook link on the registration page.
CHRISTMAS CD RAFFLE! We have a Christmas CD raffle coming up on December 1st. Be sure to post atleast one message in our community forum or upgrade to premium status to be part of the fun. Read all of the details on the contest page on how you can win one of these wonderful Christmas CDs.
I broke down and started listening last week. People walking by my desk were a mix of OH! Christmas Music! and OH! Christmas Music? LOL But I've been enjoying it. Thank you!

Request can't be made for songs?

Well, we now have a dedicate channel for Christmas music and unfortunately you can not make requests on that channel.
Part of the reason we created the dedicate channel is people would miss the Highlander Radio broadcast when we switched around this time of year. So Highlander Radio will not be going completely Christmas, but we will make available our Christmas catalog for requests at some point this season.
Always in Celtic Christmas these last days, I love it... but Paul, I have a serious question: Where is the lovely snow on the desktop, please?!? I was waiting this day because if I remember well, the snow started on the 1st of December, doesn't it? I love so much this snow
Thank you so much

We've been having some discussion when Highlander Radio will go over to our Christmas Playlist and we have decided on December 9th.
For those that remember we use to switch the name of our broadcast to "A Celtic Christmas", but since we have a 24/7 channel by that name, it will stay as "Highlander Radio".
We have switched our Highlander Radio broadcast to Christmas music within the nick of time as our "A Celtic Christmas" dedicated channel is maxing out. Feel free to connect using either link on our tune-in page (LISTEN NOW on the MENU).
Highlander Radio is taking requests and we have our Christmas playlist available from the main menu.
While "A Celtic Christmas" channel is a dedicated year long Christmas Channel, Highlander Radio will play Christmas music only until December 25th this year for our die hard Highlander Radio fans wanting to hear that Celtic Tribal music!
