So far as I've been able to tell, this year's games is once more the Saturday after Labor Day, so this year would be Saturday, September the 9th. Who's coming? Huh? Huh?

I'll be there. I'm not sure how many will be in tow, but that hasn't stopped us before. I'm half trying to put together a gathering place for CR people (or more likely, SCAdians) to have a home base somewhere other than their cars. Maybe snag a picnic table in a nice shady spot where we can park the coolers and rest. It's a thought, anyway. smile.gif

Well Sekhmet, I assume it must be near you somewhere, which means it's not out of range for me. But where exactly? The site doesn't say.

If you can get to the PA Turnpike, I can get you the rest of the way. smile.gif Lemme see how they've re-numbered the exits and I'll go from there.

Don't drive. Buses go that way? And really -- what town is it in?

::thinking:: Yeah, buses come close enough. Getting you *to* the games and back to the hotel would be the big issue, I'm thinkin'. But that can be arranged too.

This is in Ligonier, Pennsylvania...Westmoreland County, about 50 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Let me know when and if it becomes something other than wishful thinking, and we'll go from there. smile.gif

Yeah, I figured that out already...LOL I'm on a hormone cocktail; I reserve the right to be a ditz.

At any rate, I'm still not sure how many of my hoarde is going; it might just be my husband and children. Possibly my mother and sister and seven or eight other people who won't make up their minds till the night before! laugh.gif I'm hoping I can persuade Master Gwilym and the rest of the household to show up too.

I'm heavily pregnant, my mother won't be able to walk far...where would we like to locate a table? Anything in the games area is going to be reserved and/or the first to go, but I'll naturally make a shot for that first. We might wind up shooting for something over the bridge. Hm...plans within plans...

I was just in time to see the clan parade...after getting there, getting parked, running into half a dozen people you know...man, that eats up time! LOL

So did you have a good time this year? It was a lot less crowded this time around.
