In most parts of the country, if you order a hamburger or a hot dog "all the way", they'll know exactly what you mean. Only trouble is, in different parts of the country, it means different things. Around here, "all the way" usually means mustard, chili, onions and cole slaw whether it's a hamburger or a hot dog. What does "all the way" mean where you live?

I never order them "all the way". I believe here in SW Florida you'll most likely get the following on a Hamburger: lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions, mayo, catsup and mustard. Hotdog: pickle relish or sauerkraut.

Here in Wyoming you have to ask for the mayo. I never order hotdogs so can't help ya there..

Hotdogs are chili, cole slaw, onions and mustard and burgers are lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, mustard and catsup. We have a Dairy Queen that makes the best dogs around, they make homemade chili and slaw. When I eat there I always order slaw on my burger along with onions, tomatoes and pickle. Yummy!!!

I guess I'm boring. I don't like any of that garbage on burgers & hot dogs. Just catsup on my hot dogs and catsup & a little bit of mustard on my burgers. I can take or leave onions on burgers, except if I get a burger at a place that's a block & a half from my house. Then, it's grilled onions all the way, baby! tongue.gif
