BRASS RUBBINGS

A site in Edinburgh to do brass rubbings. It is probably advisable to book in advance as, judging by the number of tourists around the premises, it seems to be a very popular tourist attraction.

CHARLES RENNIE MACINTOSH

Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928) architect, designer and artist is celebrated around the world today as one of the most significant talents to emerge in the period which spans from the mid 1890s to the late 1920s. Most of his surviving work can be found in or around Glasgow. Glasgow College of Art is one of his stunning achievements.

GS
Thanks for the information. I know GlenAllen's site - and it is very good. He is a regular post on a scottish culture site I visit.

Those other sites are great.
