Does anyone know of any good video based Irish gaelic tutorial systems out there? I am interested in learning Irish, but I live at least 3-4 hours from any instructors I can find listed on the internet. And all of the Irish-folk that I know only speak English, more's the pity.

If video is not an option, can anyone reccomend an audio-based tutorial system? Preferably one that is available on CD.

Also, can those of you who have picked up Irish as a second language tell me what were the pitfalls you encountered along the way?

Thanks loads for any help y'all can give me! smile.gif

Fortunately, my family is from ireland and they would often speak it when I was little... on things that I shouldn't hear.

As for a place to go, INAC - Go To Irish Lessons has a place with Gaelic lessons. There are also sources for buying CD's.

Bon chance! OOOOOOOPS!

GB's right on the money. The best on the web for Irish Gaelic is the INAC!
