We have made some changes to our request system that I think will more accurately show the most requested songs on our broadcast. Songs that show in our Top Ten list on our website, will now play on our broadcast accurately.
In addtion, when we play the top ten songs, the queue will no longer be cleared. Same goes for featured artist broadcast time. So that songs requested or coming up to play will stay in the queue.
Sounds good to me. Macfive said they were working on a way to stop someone requesting 5 versions of a song but it is understandably difficult to tie all the different combinations together into code I expect. And it's my birthday today! Yay me. Woot. *sigh*
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! For the " 6 songs every 4 hours" mean that it isn't the old 5 songs every 90 minutes? Well, I think I just answered my own question there.. The new policy looks good to me.
May dragons bring you wealth and guard your treasures May they banish darkness and enlighten you May female dragons grant you inner power May the Dragon Queen neutralize your enemies May Dragon Spirits give you power over Elementals May weather dragons bring rain at your request May Ti'amat effect the changes you command May Ishtar grant you Dragon Power May Ishtar grant you Dragon Power
Looks like a good policy. Congradulation on doing a very tough and often thankless job.

If there is righteousness in the heart, there will be beauty in the character. If there is beauty in the character, there will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world. So let it be.
Actually, the best change was to the Top Ten List. I believe the new way we are doing it is much more representative of the overall listeners. The previous Top Ten List was too easy to skew the results of one song if someone requested it alot.
