Not at all friend. You just need to finish up your construction and reasearch and all of the in game abilities will be opened up for you. Please note though, you should learn more about the game before diving headfirst into tower building, there is so much more to the game as a whole. Read around the forums, ask more questions, or perhaps find yourself a clan to call home before making too many decisions right away; it will serve you well as your trying to build.
