Celtic Radio Community > Celtic Radio > Mysql - Connection Errors

Posted by: Macfive 05-Aug-2004, 04:17 PM
We have been receiving reports of some MYSQL lost connection errors. This is similiar to about a year ago when because of increased traffic we needed to adjust some default settings to our database.

We have updated the database for increase load and will be monitoring the performance of the site. If you happen to run across any errors that resolve upon refreshing the page, please let us know.

Thanks!

We were down for a little bit today. There was a slight problem with our UPS device. Tonight we will probably take the system down for a little bit to fix this issue.

When I try to connect through Winamp, using my bookmark, I get a message that the station is unavailable right now.

I tried connecting through the Audio Wizard and chose the external player option, and then it connected.

Has anyone noticed better response time the past 24 hours? I know that for me, it seems like the site is responding better since I made some changes to the database.

In the forums I am having to refresh at every page change... says either server not found or page not found... I refresh and it goes right to the page I was trying to get to . Everything else music wise is Ok on my end.

Is this still happening. I just made a slight change, again, to the way HTTP headers are rendered.

Is it doing it all the time. I do believe this is related to certain songs as I have seen it on occasion and when the song changes it disappears. Usually a javascript error ";" or something.

I'll look at the code for the song display and see if I can track anything down.

I am really at a lost about this. I have tried it on different computers on our network and no problems like this. It could be something with your javascript. Is anyone else getting this error all the time?
