I think we have a budding poet in our mist.  Tell me what you think.

Your're Never Alone

You're never alone, I'm always near;
When you're troubled, down or blue,
All you have to do is call me
I'm always here for you.

It doesn't matter where I'm at,
It dosen't matter when,
When you need someone to talk to.I'm here to be your friend.

If you need someone to holk your hand.
Or a hug to sayI care.
If you need a shoulder to cry on,
For you I will be there.

So never think you are a burden,
When the weight gets to be to much,
You might find, if you look hard enough,
a good friend could be the right touch.

You're never alone, I'm always here,
Through the good times and the bad,
I'm always here to be your friend,
I don't like to see you sad,
I will always be here, you will never be alone.

This is beautiful! She definitely has some poetic talent there!

aklassie, it sounds like to me that akferret is a very caring person.  Her poem was very touching.  True friends are a blessing and everybody needs someone to unload on.

I don't know for whom she wrote that but I think that one can be blessed to have such a friend.
It describes quite well what we all need sometimes and what we should give to others.

Hey, Im Paula, im 20 and im from Argentina. For several reasons i love the celtic culture but don't ask me why...i live so far away from all of you, but i share the same opinios as the last people who replied to the person who wrote the poem...
I think it's an excellent poem to send to a friend and if there's something we cannot forget is that we always have friends that are there for us....

I'm not living as far from the Celtic Parts of the World as you do, but I can understand your feeling towards it. also Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Brittany are the most beautiful places to be...
I've never been to Argentina, but that being in south america I think it must be worth a trip. I really want to see south america one day...

My opinion- the celtic people are real. No faces or fake personalities to hide behind.
It's not just celtic people. Country people around the world are like that. If you look hard enough, you can see them. They don't want approval, they want to help. That's all.

I think that the poem is quite lovely because it strikes a UNIVERSAL chord in all of us. We all want to feel special and if someone were to give me a poem such as yours, I would indeed feel unique and special.

I think akferret should open her own ecard website! She clearly has the talent, now all she needs is a bit of computer artwork and VIOLA!
