I'm Tim and I am an uilleann piper. I play in a band called Sigean in East Tennessee. I play whistles and bodhran as well. I started out as a bluegrasser and like the rest of my band evolved into Irish music. We also do a few Scottish tunes since our singer and one of our 2 fiddle players is from Perth Scotland.
I love all things Celtic and particularly Irish. I am a stand-up comic by profession. I also am into ghosts and operate a Halloween haunted attraction called The Haunting of Krone House. I am married and have two children 9 and 13, as well as two cats.
And welcome to CR!! I'm pretty new here myself, but I like to put my two cents in just about everywhere!! (As I'm sure you will find out!!) So, I'm glad you found us here, and I'm sure you will enjoy it!!

Hi, I'm Siorai1916, but you just call me Siorai S. My ancestors were Irish, Welsh and (sorry) English (Yorkshire, actually, so almost Scottish!). I'm using these forums to ask questions about our Celtic heritage and to pose queries about how the past now influences our present and future.
