The Arizona Celtic Cultural Association (ACCA) to promote Celtic heritage and culture has been formed to promote Celtic heritage and culture in Arizona by establishing an association for those organizations with this common interest. The mission of the ACCA is to form a coalition of all various Celtic organizations and social groups to assist in their membership recruitment, event scheduling and presentation of the community to the people of Arizona.
The ACCA strives to bring together all Celtic organizations and social groups to a forum whereby we can establish a single force for publicity, community relations and other mandates as brought to this association’s attention.
Some of the Celtic groups participating on the council include the Caledonian Society of Arizona, the Irish Foundation of Arizona, The Irish Cultural and Learning Foundation, the Prescott Area Celtic Society, the Welsh League of Arizona and the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society. All Arizona based Celtic organizations are invited to join.
The ACCA meets the first Friday of the month at the Irish Cultural Center, located at 1106 North Central Avenue in Phoenix. Michelle Campbell, past President of the Caledonian Society of Arizona is the facilitator. The ACCA can be reached at www.azcelts.org or (623) 561-2721.
