I remember it. couldn't get tickets so we didn't go. Found out later you didn't need them. I grew up on a farm where they raised hemp for the war effort and those must be the most hardy seeds in the world. It grew wild over most of the uncultivated areas and I had no idea what it was. Had I known, there is a possibility I might not have graduated.
Do I remember Woodstock? What are you kidding? I’m still there! The truth is I didn’t go, because I didn’t think fast enough on my way out the door, (when the phone rang). If only I asked whose calling, instead of saying yes this is John. I could have said, sorry you have the wrong number, but no!!! You see the call was from First Sergeant Peters of my National Guard unit, telling me that I had to report for duty. (You heard of the show of shows…well that was it, and I still haven’t forgiven myself for missing it.)

Thats the best laugh that I've had in a long time!!! I love Joe Cocker, great, great singer and even better side burns, remember when he was on Saturday night live with John Belushi, and they were singing at the same time?? that was hysterical.

the orginal one done on SNL had cocker singing then after the first verse belushi came out behind him and started imitating cocker as he made his moves... at the end he fell down like in the above video and all through the whole performance it didnt look like joe even knew what was going on behind him...... it was hilarious but i couldnt find it anywhere
