Ok, editing my post, once I refrenced the previous post. You're talking about a different kind of RPG.... Paul is working on something somewhat similar to what you describe. And has had plans in the works for it for as long as I can remember.

We were just talking about this over dinner tonight! smile.gif Yes, a long term plan.

The first phase is more of a RPG - turn based game. The second phase will be creating a 3D world.

We threw some ideas around tonight. Such as everyone would have there own Castle. Well, not initially but you would have to do something to build your castle. Maybe earn Gold to build the different parts.

There would be a map that you could see all of the residence and meeting places.

We all agreed that the game should interact with the membership forum that we already have here.

There are some other projects that we have to take care of first. Yes it has been a few years, but I promise that we will be moving soon, possibly this year on phase 1. We already have built the bridge so that member accounts here work in the game.

Oh I see, so you have started making something like it. I see on the site how there is already a kind of RPG theme with the posts, but do you think it would be like a big strategy game like Celtic kings and troops and armies , or something like runescape where it's characters and monster fighting?

oO

Can i say i already loved it??

If it goes the way i am thinking it will, this is the game i always dreamed of!!!

Would it be a game where you build your castle part by part, like you choose the towers, wall, the keep, and everything else styles, or just a "level" system, where all the castles would be the same (boring, but playable for sure) thing and would be like "level 5 towers, level 6 walls, level 5 barracks" and all this boring, and single stuff

I must say (if you guys haven't repaired yet) that i prefer VERY MUCH the first one, as i am a HUGE fan of customization

ooh and i forgot to say... It don't need to be like 100 towers, 100 walls, and everything... i think that 99 would already be cool tongue.gif

If you guys ever need a suggestion, fell free to call me ^^

LOL, no problem. The game has been talked about since the early days of the site. I am certain that everyone thinks we will never start developing it again - but we really are getting close to spending a good 5 months on it in a very short time.

I love this game. It is the best idea anyone could have had to make the site a bit more interactive. It is fun to build up a kingdom.
