Here in San Diego we have an iron hulled sailing ship that was built at the Ramsey Shipyards in the Isle of Man in the year 1863. She currently named Star of India and is part of our Maritime Museum. She is still sea worthy and is taken out to sea several times a year.
Today she is having her 142 birthday since her launch in 1863. I have been aborad her many times, but never while she was out to sea. I did once ride the Hornblower next to her once during one of her voyages.
