It poured most of Wednesday and they have issued heavy rainfall warnings for the Cariboo in Central BC. We really need the rain too. It's been a very hot, dry summer and lots of forest fires nearby.
Absolutely gorgeous! About 62 degrees F, bright, sunny, crisp. Acting like a first day of fall (although that does not come in til tomorrow morning around 11 AM). Bring it ON!!!!
This week we've had rain and wind in the earlier part of the week but yesterday the weather calmed down, the sun came out a little and we've had a couple of wonderful mild autumn days - it's about 63F (17C) outside this morning
A cold front just moved through today so a high pressure will follow and the winds will shift to out of the northeast and east which will make fishing a little more difficult. I will be out in the sound catching shrimp with my castnet and the wind makes it difficult to throw a 8ft. castnet. Later in the day I will be fishing for those beautiful red fish and trout. Right now it is sunny and 78 degrees here on the coast.
Chilly. I turned on the heat and lowered the storm windows in my apartment. I've also started wearing my hoodies.

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
IT HAS BEGUN!!! That's right, yestrerday was sunny, slightly cloudy, and about 40 degrees here in the U.P. This morning around 9:00 the first snowfall came down. And then it really came down. And it's still coming down. 2-3 feet by Friday, snow mixed with rain, lake effect winter storm warnings, slushy bad driving conditions, major yuck. And not the light fluffy stuff that melts when it hits the ground. Oh no, we get the wet heavy, snowball forming, make yourself a house and a garage out of snowbricks kind of fluff for the next three days. No power lines downed by falling trees yet but its just a matter of time. The tree branches (mostly pine and birch) are pretty heavy with the stuff. I least I can take comfort in the fact that spring is now the next season and not winter. Started singing Christmas carols just to iritate my coworkers so the day wasn't a total loss.

Two days ago, I was wearing a short sleeve shirt. Today, I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt, a T-shirt underneath and my leather jacket. And I have the heat on in my apartment. 'Nuff said.

OMG, you just reminded me that Christmas is just around the corner ! I can't wait to put up my tree (it's just a 4' table top tree I bought last year at Menards)!
Nasty stuff is still coming down. Suppose to get up to the 40's for the weekend. i hope it does cuz the SCA has a Crown Tounament at the community college here on saturday.
