Contest Results

And now comes the moment you have all been waiting for!

I really wish that we could give out prizes to everyone. After reading all of the St. Patrick's Days posts, I have to say that this is truly a wonderful online community and a great place to hang out. I really enjoyed reading all of the posts and profiles from members new and old alike.

Before I get to the prizes, I just wanted to share with you the success of the contest. The goal was to bring in new members, increase our listenership and introduce new people to our community forums. I think the results speak for themselves:

Stats for March 17, 2004 - St. Patrick's Day:

Total Posts: 580
Total Unique Visitors: 2,367
Max Concurrent Listeners: 246
Total Listens: 52,385

In fact, we are so pleased with the results and with the number of contestants (143!), that we have decided to include a 5th prize! A Celtic Cross charm necklace!

Finally, I just want to thank Killian (Mrs. Macfive) for keeping those leprechaun's away from our computer servers yesterday! Especially on St. Patrick's day and with the contest, the last thing we needed was those leprechaun's causing trouble again!

Yay for you guys, and poo for me I am pea green with envy

I'd have loved to be one of the lucky winners this time, but I still feel like I won...this is a great place to listen to the music that I love all year around. We have our own station to listen to on Sundays, (KCTE Hot Talk Radio AM 1510 from 10 - 12:00 CST) But at any other time, I'll be here faithfully!!

Thanks for being here, keep up the great work and have more of these contsts! (I couldn't wait to get up and check to see if I'd won...and I still have St. Patrick's fever from yesterday!!!)
