Celtic Radio Community > Bug Reports > Need To Update Spy Mission

Posted by: McRoach 13-Jul-2009, 08:04 PM
What's this? It would seem that any player with a score over 10 million can not be spied upon. The extraordinary amount of gold required to spy must just be too big a transaction for any worthy spy to quietly accept. If players are going to continue accumulating such vast scores it seems an almost unfair advantage. Not only does it cost well more than any newer player could spend but due to the 7 digit limit NO ONE can perform this mission.

I guess I will just have to come right out and ask, TheCarolinaScotsman, if I send you 52,000,000 may I have a copy of your troop count?

McRoach, a few weeks ago I posted a suggestion to Paul to expand all number fields, at least ten digits and preferably 12. In answer to your question, how about I give you a freebie?

Leader (change) Lord Aberach
Battles fought 20
Defense bonus 100% (0%)
Attack bonus 0% (0%)

Units
Longbowmen 5,033,000
Archers 5,033,000
Pikemen 5,033,000
Spearmen 5,573,000
Cavalry 5,033,000
Knights 0
Swordsmen 5,033,000
Infantry 7,181,000
Militia 7,181,000
Slavers 0
Trebuchet 500,000
Battering ram 509,000

and currently in training:

617000 Spearmen training, 1 months remaining.
540000 Cavalry training, 13 months remaining.
540000 Swordsmen training, 1 months remaining.
540000 Pikemen training, 3 months remaining.
617000 Pikemen training, 4 months remaining.
617000 Archers training, 6 months remaining.
540000 Archers training, 5 months remaining.
540000 Longbowmen training, 9 months remaining.
617000 Longbowmen training, 10 months remaining.
617000 Cavalry training, 14 months remaining.
608000 Swordsmen training, 2 months remaining.
27000 Knights training, 22 months remaining.

Actually, I do have some knights and slavers, but I didn't want them. After filling out the numbers to train multiple times (number field again), it's easy to accidentaly fill in the wrong line. So I put them in Army 3 , since I'll never be allowed to attack anyone. Anything that I purposely trained is in Home Army. Is this a full enough report for you?

My god sire, you could take on the world with an army that vast.

I have known these numbers for some weeks now. I've just been waiting for a bunch of fools to form a coalition and decide they had enough to TRY!

I just decided to see how high I can run up the numbers. Since I don't want to break your spirit completely, I won't reveal the multi-millions in each catagory of structures that I have. I've been thinking of having some of the extra fellows start a brewery. What do you think? beer_mug.gif smile.gif beer_mug.gif

Is this a full enough report for you?

Yes that will do and thanks for sharing with all of MK as well. I suppose if we were all band together and attack at once there is a 1 or 2% chance we could destroy a gold mine or two. I tip my hat to you sir. king.gif
