Greetings All,

Just joined the site about a week ago and I am enjoying it very much. Just wanted to introduce myself. My wife and I have a 10 month old and she is awesome. I waited a wee bit (36 years old) to have the youngling but it was worth the wait.

I am currently in the DC region and have been in the US Navy for almost 19 years and glad to be home...for a change.

Glad you found the site and I'm hoping you're enjoying all we have to offer - not only the great Celtic music, but the other forums as well!

I'd also like to take this time to thank you for your selflessness and service to America! I was in DC the beginning of February of this year and had fun walking around at night taking a DC tour with a friend that lives there - I had been to the Viet Nam memorial after it was opened, but not the WWII or the Korean memorials, which were very moving. Even the FDR memorial was interesting, although all the fountains were turned off due to freezing temps.

Anyway, God bless you and the loves of your life - your wonderful wife and your wee one! Have fun on the site and I look forward to reading your future posts!
