OT: One of my favorite road trips was to Chicago to watch baseball. We were able to catch one game at Wrigley and one at the brand-new Comiskey Park - the oldest and the newest at the time - all in one weekend. One of my "compatriots" was able to abscond one of old Comiskey's bricks.

Chicago was an absolutely gorgeous city. If it weren't for the wind (and that strange cold white stuff that falls out of the sky in the winter) it would be a great city to live in.

What, the spring training games aren't enough to hold ya ?

The White Sox have actually done some remodeling to Comiskey Park (now US Cellular Field). They removed the top 15 rows of the upper deck (it was so high, you almost felt like ducking when an airplane flew overhead ), put up brick facades, installed some nice lattice work and added a fan deck in center field.

Also, if you go to any sports memorabilia store in the Chicago area, there's a good chance that they'll have some bleacher seats from the old Comiskey Park (which is now a parking lot across the street from "The Cell").
