Hello, My name is Julia and I'm from Philadelphia, PA in the USA. I found this great site thanks to Bob Hurst of the Bogside Rogues - GREAT Group! My maternal grandparents were from Ireland - Cork (GF) and Donegal (GM).
Julia so glad you have joined us. I see you live in Philly so hopefully you can come up in Sept and meet a few of us at the Bethlehem Celtic Classic Festival. There are a few of us going to be there for the weekend and would love to have you.
I am so glad you found us! As far as I am concerned, I believe you have found what is, perhaps, the nicest bunch of people to be found on the internet! There is lots of good conversation, GREAT music, and plenty of fun to be had! Welcome to family! Can't wait to get to know you through your posts!

Welcome Julia!! Hope you enjoying being part of this little famliy.
Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner
If society prospers at the expense of the intangibles, how can it be called progress?
